Greg Piccolo is a seasoned saxophonist, vocalist, and bandleader whose career spans decades of influential work in blues, jazz, and rhythm & blues. As an early member of Roomful of Blues, he helped shape the band’s signature swing-driven sound, eventually stepping into a leadership role while earning recognition for his powerful tenor sax tone and distinctive voice. Over the years, Piccolo has performed and recorded with a wide range of legendary artists, building a reputation for both versatility and authenticity. After leaving Roomful of Blues, he forged his own path with his band Heavy Juice, embracing a more stripped-down, expressive style that blends jazz, R&B, and rock influences. Still actively writing, performing, and refining his craft, Piccolo continues to be defined by a lifelong commitment to playing music with feel, soul, and originality.
