My friendship with Anthony blossomed while I was working with Ronnie Earl & the Broadcasters. I'd known about Anthony since the days of Little Anthony and the Locomotives, who were regulars on the scene in and around Cambridge in the days when I was running the streets there. And I remember him very well as a member of Sugar Ray and the Bluetones in the 1980s when I was seeing them often.
